About Us
On the 9th of September 2013, the British-Polish Online School was founded by Jolanta Joanna Lisowiec, a highly qualified teacher of Polish who wanted to continue her passion for sharing her knowledge about Polish culture, history, traditions and language after she moved out from her homeland to the United Kingdom. Since then, she has run courses for children, teenagers, adults, children and grandchildren of Polish WWII soldiers, private companies, and police officers.
Today, thanks to Zoom, you can take online individual or group lessons with your personal teacher/tutor at the British-Polish Online School and study Polish anywhere and anytime.
Polish lessons are suitable for everyone, no matter how old you are or your background. However, it is enough if you are curious to learn about Polish culture. In many scientists' opinion, Polish is one of the most interesting Slavic languages, and Poles are one of the invincible nations in Europe that survived 123 years of Russian, Prussian and Austrian occupation. Therefore, you can learn about this sad chapter in our history in one of your Polish lessons with your new teacher.
In addition, we offer webinars and special lectures about Polish customs, traditions and general Slavic culture. It is possible to order a course on request, according to the client's specific guidelines, e.g. Polish in business, Polish slang or traditional Polish cuisine. We love challenges, so any topic can not scare us 😄
